Hans is a man who always has a number of tire levers in the fire – and they always have to do with some sort of epic adventure, or meeting up with a celebrity to do some riding. We caught up with Hans to get the latest news bites. Here’s what he’s up to:

Hans, together with Downhill World Champ Steve Peat and Youtube sensation Danny MacAskill, are planning a road trip together on the isle of Skye in Scottland in May. Stay tuned for some great trails, trials and DH riding – including some heli-biking and whiskey destillery visits.

He’s currently the key speaker at the IMBA World Summit in early May.

The long awaited Wheels 4 Life documentary film is almost finished. The film will be 40 minutes long and features one of W4L’s projects in the Northern Pare Mountains in Tanzania. Hans and his team visited the area 3 times over the period of 14 month to film the impact the bikes had on the people and the entire community – the film also follows certain individuals around to show how they use and benefit from the bikes they have received. It also shows how W4L works and how one can help and support this charity. Tennis legend John McEnroe narrates the film, and Rage Against the Machine has provided some of the soundtrack.
